Timeline of the Pascoag Utility District Water Department AMR Project

  • Special Meeting was held at the District office on August 26, 2009. Pascoag water customers unanimously approved the Water AMR Project.
  • Pascoag Utility District applied for a STAG Grant on October 21, 2009 in the amount of $218,000.
  • The bond signing took place on November 5, 2009.
  • On November 13, 2009 Pascoag Utility District opened the sealed bids from the Meter request for proposals.
  • Staff is currently reviewing these proposals.
  • In December 2009 RFP awarded to Master Meter (AMR-Drive By Water Metering System).
  • December 2009 District receives notice of award for the EPA Grant in the amount of $218,000.00.
  • Water meters were delivered April 2010.
  • Pre-pilot water meter installation project begun mid-April 2010.
  • District requested first reinbursement from RI Clean Water Finance Agency.
  • Notification letters were sent to Cycle 1 customers for meter installation appointments.
