The 8th Annual Green Festival is Right Around the Corner!

PUD in conjunction with HWD is issuing a notice of outdoor water restrictions until further notice. Water levels are down, causing wells to pull air into the system, resulting in cloudy water. The restrictions consist of the following: irrigation of lawns via sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems, filling swimming pools, washing of vehicles, washing exterior buildings, parking lots, driveways and sidewalks. Watering vegetable gardens and maintenance of livestock is allowed. We ask that everyone please help to conserve water whenever possible.

This post will be taken down as soon as the water ban is lifted.

Thank you for your cooperation!

We’ve been hard at work preparing for this year’s Green Festival! We have a great line up of green vendors in attendance and tons of activities planned for the day!

The Festival has something for everyone! Learn about local products and ideas that will help you conserve energy and create a more sustainable lifestyle. There will be free crafts, face painting and bucket truck rides for children. Jesse Smith Library, The Burrillville Farmers Market and Re:discover will also be joining in on the fun with activities throughout the day! The lovely Lauren King will be performing! Noble Knots food truck will be back with all their tasty treats! The Festival is free to the public.

Save the date! You won’t want to miss this!
